Thamel.Com, registered in 2000, provides various information technology based services using ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) as a key tool of development and deployment. It has been maintaining a portal with a registered name as www.thamel.com and extending different types of services to Nepalese Diaspora, Expatriate Community, Local and International customers’ base.

Thamel.com (www.thamel.com) is Nepal’s first e-commerce company. Today, it caters to Nepalese Diaspora residing in various parts of the world enabling the Diaspora to buy various products and services for their friends and families back here in Nepal. Diaspora can also send money through the Internet and finance loans for themselves to buy house, apartments, land and automobiles in Nepal.

GES 2016 22-24 June, 2016

Rajesh Lal Joshi, CEO of Thamel.Com was one of the GES Delegates from Nepal to have attended Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2016 hosted by President Barak Obama at the Stanford University in Silicon Valley, California on June 22-24. GES2016 staged a wide range of workshops, panels, ignite talks, pitch competitions, mentoring, and networking sessions aimed for 700 participants from 170 countries. During the summit, Thamel.Com participated in Spark the Fire Pitch Competition and #worldpositive Pitch Deck Competition by Obvious Ventures.
